Transitional Kindergarten Lead Teacher
Rebecca is thrilled to be on board as the Transitional Kindergarten teacher at CWC! She has been at CWC since 2013, where she worked as a Kindergarten TA before becoming a lead teacher. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Rebecca graduated from California State University, Northridge with a BA in child and adolescent development in 2013. In 2018, she earned her multiple subject teaching credential from CalStateTeach. Early childhood education has always been a focus and passion of hers, and she was very excited to pilot the very first TK class at CWC. Rebecca also has been the pitching coach of the varsity softball team at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks since 2008. In addition to coaching softball at Notre Dame, she is an adult counselor at the Notre Dame sports summer camp. Having attended a progressive elementary school, and being raised by a family of entertainers, she has always felt that education should be fun, creative, and interactive. Rebecca is an avid sports enthusiast (Go Dodgers!), loves baking for her family during the holidays, and is a member of Los Angeles Responsible Pit Bull Owners with her pit bull, Rascal.
