Born in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Miss Jessica moved three hours north (thinking this was very adventurous) to attend the University of Central Florida. There, she received her BA in Elementary Education and teaching certification for Florida. Immediately after graduation, she drove cross-country with her pup, Nosi, to central Oregon. It was in this beautiful state that Miss Jessica realized she was unequipped to survive 5 months of snow a year. So she moved to Los Angeles in 2017, working as a substitute and personal tutor until finally landing her dream job back in the classroom as a Kindergarten TA at CWC.
In addition to speaking Spanish, she speaks some French and is working on key phrases in Korean. Outside of school, Miss Jessica spends her time still exploring the diverse landscapes of California with Nosi, and working to obtain a California teaching credential.
