ENTERTAINMENT LINEUP

2:00PM MC MUSIC TREE & THE ARELLANO BROTHERS
Brothers Juan and Adan Arellano will perform songs from Mexico with MC Music Tree. CWC Hollywood 2nd grader, Emilia, and her sister, kindergartener, Iris, will dance alongside the band wearing traditional dress.

2:20PM WELCOME & INTRO: MCs SUNDEEP & SAMMY

2:23PM POEM (USA) READ BY TRISTAN
CWC Hollywood 1st grader, Tristan, will read the classic Langston Hughes poem, “I Dream A World.”

2:26PM TK PERFORMANCE: W/ FOLK SINGER TRACEY NEWMAN
Folk music singer-songwriter, Tracey Newman, will play guitar and lead the CWC Hollywood TK class for two adorable songs.

2:31PM NORI: KOREAN DRUMS & TRADITIONAL INSTRUMENTS
CWC Hollywood moms, Eunjin & Katie, return to the Multicultural Festival as Nori. They will perform “Samulnori” using Korean drums and other traditional instruments.

2:40PM CLASSICAL SOUTH INDIAN DANCE BY SAHITHI
CWC Hollywood 2nd Grader, Sahithi, will perform a classical south Indian dance routine.

2:46PM CARIBBEAN STORY TIME W/ GRIOT PAT
CWC Hollywood TA Coordinator, Patricia Anthonyson, will play the Djembe Drum and read the kids a Caribbean tale.

2:56PM CLEARY IRISH DANCE TROUPE
Led by Margaret Cleary, national champions, Cleary Irish Dance, are back by popular demand at the CWC Multicultural Festival. Once again they will perform their exhilarating brand of traditional Irish dance.

3:07PM CLASSICAL INDIAN SONG BY SAKET
CWC Hollywood 4th Grader, Saket, will perform, “Bramhamokkate.”

3:11PM DANZA MEXICA AZTEC DANCE TROUPE
Aztec dance troupe, Danza Mexica, will perform traditional pre-Columbian dance from ancient Mexico.

3:23PM 1ST GRADE PERFORMANCE
CWC Hollywood 1st Graders (Sea Jellies, Penguins and Sea Otters) will perform two inspirational songs, “Mosaic” and “Lean On Me.”.

3:30PM INTERMISSION

3:40PM IMAGEN LATINA
CWC Hollywood grandparents, Imagen Latina, will perform an array of music from Latin America.

3:56PM KALI/SILAT: FILIPINO MARTIAL ARTS
Pamana Kali/Silat & Kali 4 Kids will perform ancient Filipino martial arts.

4:07PM FUSION INDIAN DANCE BY NAGASREE
Dancer, Nagasree, will perform a blend of classical and contemporary Indian moves, including Bollywood.

4:11PM FRENCH CHAUNTEUSE MYRIAM BLANCKAERT
CWC Silver Lake mom, Myriam Blanckaert, will represent France with two hometown favorites, “Zou Bisou” and “Tourbillon.”

4:17PM POEM (KOREA) READ BY ISAIAH & ENOCH
CWC Silver Lake 4th Grader, Isaiah, and his brother, 2nd Grader, Enoch, will read a Korean poem about travel.

4:19PM WIZARD OF OZ PERFORMANCE
Members of the cast of CWC Hollywood’s upcoming spring production of “Wizard of Oz” will perform a scene and two songs from the classic American fairytale.

4:28PM HIP-HOP DANCE BY EDGE PAC
Edge PAC’s Teen Company and CWC Silver Lake/Edge PAC students, Lucy, Ruby, Trinley and Estelle.

4:35PM TRADITIONAL DRESS PARADE
Wear your culture’s traditional attire to the festival and sign up onsite to participate in our annual multicultural fashion show.
