3rd Grade Lead Teacher
Born in raised in Los Angeles, Wendy has always loved working with children. She received her BA in Liberal Studies (CSU’s cool way of saying elementary education) with a Concentration in General Sciences from California State University of Northridge and is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Teaching at Pepperdine University. From her fun jobs nannying and working at summer camps, to her more serious roles working with the special education department at a local high school, Wendy has worn many hats in her journey working with children. It was the deep rooted values of Community and Creativity that truly drew Wendy to the steps of CWC as she prepares herself to enter a new chapter in her path towards becoming a Lead Teacher herself one day. From working in the classroom to playing some serious rounds of Four Square outside, Wendy is overjoyed with her decision to join the CWC team this school year.
When she is not at CWC or studying, Wendy enjoys camping, eating as much delicious food as she can find, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
