Sarah Hyland

K/1 Visual Arts Teacher

Sarah is an educator, designer, and illustrator. She grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from Clark Montessori, the nation’s first public Montessori high school. Sarah moved to New York to attend The New School where she earned a B.F.A. with honors in Integrated Design from Parsons School of Design. Sarah was awarded a full-tuition merit scholarship to Savannah College of Art & Design where she received a Master of Arts in Teaching Art.

Sarah has been developing arts-based curriculum for over eight years and has taught every age from pre-school to pre-college for schools, museums, and camps across the country. In addition to teaching, Sarah loves drawing, cappuccinos, soccer, and beach vacations with her family. Sarah is very excited to be a part of the Citizens of the World community this year!
