Transitional Kindergarten Teacher
Rebecca Shores – Rebecca is thrilled to be on board as the new Transitional Kindergarten teacher! This will be her fifth year at CWC Hollywood, as she spent the last four years as a Kindergarten Teaching Associate. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Rebecca graduated from California State University, Northridge with a BA in child and adolescent development in 2013. She is currently enrolled in the Cal State Teach program in Los Angeles and is finalizing her teaching credential. Early childhood education has always been a concentration and passion of hers, and she is very excited to begin the first TK class at CWCH. She also has been the pitching coach of the varsity softball team at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks since 2008. In addition to coaching softball at Notre Dame, she is an adult counselor at the Notre Dame sports summer camp. Having gone to a progressive elementary school, and being raised by a family of entertainers, she has always felt that education should be fun, creative, and interactive. Rebecca is an avid sports enthusiast (Go Dodgers!), loves baking for her family during the holidays, and is a member of Los Angeles Responsible Pit Bull Owners with her pit bull Rascal.
