Louis Chernovsky

2nd Grade Teaching Associate

Louis is a native Angeleno who has worn several hats in his life. After an early love of the film industry lead him to receive a B.A. in Film Production from Cal State Northridge, he eventually realized that what he really wanted to do was to pursue a career that involved helping others. Spurred on by experience with volunteer teaching through Junior Achievement as well as experience as a long-time day care counselor, Louis made the decision that teaching was an ideal fit. He plans on working towards a teaching credential and becoming a lead teacher within the next few years, but in the meantime is extremely excited for the opportunity to learn and grow as a teacher in a vivid and diverse community like CWC. Like any true “citizen of the world”, Louis has travelled extensively, visiting 38 states as well as 10 different countries. When he has down time, he likes going on long walks with his Beagle mix, Kobe (go Lakers!), and his life long dream is to appear as a contestant on Jeopardy (he’s come close twice!).
