4th Grade Lead Teacher
Christina Stevenson is an LA native; born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. She graduated from California State University of Northridge in Liberal Studies, received a Masters of Education from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, and a Multi-Subject Credential from UCLA. For the past sixteen years Christina has dedicated herself to teaching in the private school setting, most recently having served as a teacher at Campbell Hall in Los Angeles for twelve years. Christina has enjoyed expanding her horizons and teaching practice at an independent charter school. She has taught preschool through sixth grade, enjoying all the different levels and age groups. She has been a Reading Specialist Co-Teacher, a Technology Integration Specialist and most recently, a 4th grade teacher. She has also directed a STEAM Academy as well as various robotics summer camps where students explored the world around them through the use of technology.
Christina strives to create an engaging, student-centered environment where students feel supported and challenged. She is passionate about teaching, project-based learning and curriculum design. In her free time, Christina enjoys traveling, spending time with family and reading.
