4th Grade Lead Teacher
Christina Stevenson is an LA native. She was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. She graduated from California State University of Northridge in Liberal Studies and received a Masters of Education from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks. For the past sixteen years Christina has dedicated herself to teaching in the private school setting, while most recently having served as a teacher at Campbell Hall here in Los Angeles for the last twelve years. Christina is looking forward to expanding her horizons at an independent charter school. She has taught preschool through sixth grade, enjoying all the different levels and age groups. At Campbell Hall, Christina has been a Reading Specialist Co-Teacher, a Technology Integration Specialist and, most recently, a 4th grade teacher. She has directed a STEAM Academy as well as various robotics summer camps where students explored the world around them through the use of technology.
Christina strives to create an engaging, student-centered environment where students feel supported and challenged. Christina is passionate about teaching, project-based learning, and curriculum design. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to different countries, running half and full marathons, reading non-fiction and always loves a great cup of coffee.
